Information used to deliver the site
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Requests include technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time. Cloudflare processes request information to deliver and protect its services. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.
Our editorial content is managed with Sanity. Images hosted on Sanity’s content delivery network may be requested directly by your browser, which sends technical request information to that service. See Sanity’s privacy policy. Fonts and other site images are served with the website.
Preferences and tools on your device
The theme selector stores your light or dark preference in browser local storage. The budget planner stores your plan only when you select Save on this device. These settings remain until you clear them or your browser removes them. Saved budgets are not synchronized across devices.
Calculations and site search run in your browser. A search phrase may appear in the page URL when you share or load a search link. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in search terms or shared URLs.
Analytics and advertising
Cloudflare Web Analytics is active on gearlinegarage.com. Its browser beacon measures visits, page views and page performance so we can understand traffic and improve the site. Cloudflare processes the information collected by this service; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Google Analytics, advertising scripts and affiliate tracking are not active, and there is no newsletter form. We use an AdSense publisher verification tag and an ads.txt file to connect the site for review; these entries do not load advertising scripts. Gearline has no public registration or comment system. Before introducing advertising or other tracking services, we will update this notice and configure the applicable privacy choices.
Links and editorial access
External resources have their own privacy practices. The editor is a separate Sanity service that requires the owner’s login; site visitors do not need an account to read articles or use tools.

Gearline editorial is responsible for this website and handles privacy enquiries through the contact page.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Messages sent to the public Gmail address arrive in our Gmail inbox. We use them to review and respond to enquiries. Avoid sending sensitive personal records. See Google’s privacy policy for information about its email service.
